Horses for Healing never turns anyone away due to inability to pay. We understand that many of our families are already burdened with expenses related to their child’s needs.Your help makes that possible!
Support Our Kids!
For over 30 years, Horses for Healing has helped children with special needs experience the special friendship between a horse and a child and the joy of riding. In the process, the children gain confidence, improve their coordination, learn critical thinking skills, and experience a host of other benefits. Your support will help us care for the horses, maintain the property, and manage the program. A donation of any amount helps keep little miracles happening in our arena every day. There is a lot of work and expense in operating a farm the size of ours, but the look of joy on the children's (and parent's) faces makes it all worthwhile! Your support is greatly appreciated.
Child Scholarship
$600.00
Horses for Healing subsidizes anywhere from 0-100% of the actual cost of lessons. Your scholarship will cover the cost for one child to attend an 8-week semester of our Equine Assisted Learning Program or participate in one of our other programs.
Sponsor a Horse
$3,000 Sponsor / $1,500 Co-Sponsor
The hard-working horses at Horses for Healing have earned the best possible care, and we do everything we can to provide it to them. Their diets are individually tailored, they receive regular visits from the farrier to keep their feet in good condition and they receive veterinarian care whenever needed. When not working, they spend their day with their friends in large pastures with plenty of hay, water, and shelter. This all comes at a price and you can help cover that cost when you sponsor a horse. At checkout, you will be able to select the horse you wish to sponsor.
